Longsho President to visit Kalimpong

 

After establishment of Longsho chapter at Kalimpong in 2008, new leaders were recruited and trained in imparting informal education and office management. Some of the leaders were invited to Dharamsala for winter camp at Garoh to increase their experience and know how on Longsho residential training camp.

However so far, Kalimpong Longsho has unable to organise training camp due to fund problem and others. So Longsho president Mr jayang Dorjee is planning to visit kalimpong and conduct first camp in Norht east India.

The issue of funding is also a big problem for Longsho Dharamsala. After completing NED project in Feb 2009, Longsho Dharamsala is spending from reserve money. We are planning to conduct a photo exibition cum tea stall on 10 Decemeber for the Kalimpong visit. If we recieive some donations earlier, the visit would be made earlier too.
