Introduction

As we all know that many of longsho’s innovative and imaginative thoughts on preservation of Tibetan cultural identity face severe funding problem.  Dickyling Longsho is on the verge of fall down and His Holiness vision of establishing Longsho chapter in Northeast region has still not realized yet. Even if we were able to set up, we wonder it’s sustainability for long time.  
 
In July 2005 we have a visit from our old friend Kalela, and the TJYE’s volunteers Anna and Andrew here in Dharamsala and are very fortunate to have received their invaluable guidance and support for finding sustainable source of fund for Longsho by setting a Friends of Longsho network. Under this network, all interested individuals can show their support by contributing any amount from $5 or Rs 50) monthly or annually.  In return, Longsho will send its quarterly reports to all friends of Longsho members. Our friends of Longsho members will have the right to oversee their donations and even can give comments on the work. Failing of response to the friends of Longsho members can stop their donation.

For convenience, we have appointed coordinator in each country where our supporters reside. They will contact you and collect your donation and will send to us. Our coordinators are:

Contribution:

As for the contribution, you can donate at least 1 dollar/Euro/Pound/Rs or more, monthly or annually. Interested and committed supporters are required to fill the registration form for the first time to become our Friends of Longsho members. After that every time you pay to Longsho, inform us on our mail and your name & you will recieve a reciept wiht thank you letter and your amount will appear on the site to track of your donation for greater transparency.

You can also check our upcoming unfunded activities and can fund from them or you can also fund us on a specific activity of your inspiration on the preservation of Tibetan cultural Identity for implementation.
